Why do Christians believe that God unconditionally loves them? In this message, Pastor Jonathan continues his series on Chapter 8 Christians by looking at the heart of Paul’s letter Romans 8:1–2. In this powerful passage, the Apostle Paul begins an opening declaration “there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.” From there, Paul lays out one of the most fundamental doctrines of Protestant Christians, the assurance of our salvation through the life of the spirit. Central to Paul’s teaching in Chapter 8 is the

Consider the Apostle Paul’s words in Romans 8:2 “For the Law of the Spirit has set you free,” how does God’s declaration of freedom impact your life? Are there areas in your life where you still sense bondage?
Prayer:
Father, I pray you would shed light on the areas of my life where I have not accepted your declaration of freedom and ask you to liberate my mind through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
