Welcome to Grace Nation! Thank you for visiting. The following article is written to give a little background on the philosophy (some call it madness) of my ministry. If you would like to know more about me, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I’ve been involved in creating online content for over a decade. From the early days of the internet, I’ve always been fascinated with developing high-quality content that advances the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That’s taken on the form writing blogs, developing academic courses for theological education, and producing podcasts.
From that experience, I’ve learned two things. First, people are now using the internet as their go-to source for information, particularly when they have faith related needs. Second, online content that is catchy, a bit edgy and captures a persons attention typically fairs better than those who are lacking personal touch.
We live in a crowded world full of information competing for our attention.

That’s why I use strong, punchy show intros and challenge Christian culture. We must find ways to cut through the noise to communicate a message of hope, purpose, and transformation.

Podcasting has become an avenue where people who may never darken the door of a church may still listen to a message in the comforts and security of their iPods, smartphones, or other devices. That is the power of podcasting and the incredible potential of creating fresh, gospel-centered avenues for people to come face-to-face with the liberating power of faith in Jesus Christ.

One of the most surprising aspects about Jesus was his ongoing intolerance of religious people, especially leaders. Throughout the Gospel stories, Jesus was constantly confronting these leaders (Scribes and Pharisees) about a specific problem – their failure to understand the real issues of faith. They were so fixated on external behaviors, rituals, and rules that they lost sight of the most important issue – the love of God.
At the same time, he demonstrated remarkable patience and tolerance for the most despised people – tax collectors and prostitutes. It is from this insight that Grace On Fire draws its philosophy. We are trying to reach people who think they are unreachable. Yet God’s forgiveness and love know no limits.
Today we must out-love our neighbors in order to win their hearts so that we can win their minds. That is the heart of the show and work of Grace Nation!
