Reach Winter Conference Afterglow
Last week was incredible, spiritually speaking.
On Tuesday, I flew to New Orleans to spend three days at the historic Missio Mosaic Convocation led by Bishop Paige Brooks. Missio Mosaic is a group of apostolic pioneers, pastors, and chaplains breaking ground for God’s Kingdom on many fronts.
The theme was “Empowered in the Fivefold Ministry,” which refers to the “gifts” our Lord, King Jesus, gave in Ephesians 4:1- 16.
To my delight and encouragement, the entire experience reminded me of the old Anglican Mission in America conferences, focusing on mission and Spirit empowerment.
Then, on Saturday, back in Casselberry, Reach held its first Taking Ground Winter Conference. Thirty-plus leaders gathered to encourage and empower each other to continue and start new apostolic works for God’s Kingdom. Finally, the following Sunday, we all joined at Redeemer Church to celebrate and “do the work” for God’s Kingdom.
I want to thank the following people for all their efforts to make all of this possible:
Archbishop Bill Mikler, Bishop Paige Brooks, Bishop Silas Ng, Fr. Michael Phillips, Canon Bob Johnson, Abbot Foye Belyea, Reese and Wendy Crane, the Pathmakers Foundation, One Child, Ruthanne Hubsmith, Edwin Alvarez, and so many more.
I also want to thank Archbishop Robert Gosselin with the CEEC for attending the Winter Conference. Your support is so encouraging.
As a bishop, I can honestly say how exciting it is to see God’s spirit working in North America!
